US Instruction Secretary Miguel Cardona explained to lawmakers on Thursday that he’s “ashamed” the state is “getting to be desensitized to the murder of little ones.”

“Educators across the country have and would give their lives to defend little ones, but dammit, that’s not adequate,” he reported throughout a Dwelling Schooling and Labor Committee listening to. “Except if you’ve gone to a funeral of a kid, you can in no way know. We can do better and we should do better.”

A survey done by the NAHT (Countrywide Association of Head Lecturers) has identified some really serious issues with regards to the Early Occupation Framework (ECF). The framework has been released to make improvements to the retention of academics in the early decades of their professions. Nevertheless, a third of school leaders who responded to the survey anxiety that the ECF – developed to support new teachers – will travel much more of them out of the occupation.
