Finally, a new Netflix show we can get our teeth stuck into. Over the weekend, The Lincoln Lawyer shot straight into the top 10 most streamed shows on the platform. And while we are loving the legal crime drama, we’ve also been wondering, where have we seen Lorna before?

Released on Friday 13th May in the UK, The Lincoln Lawyer tells the story of defence attorney Mickey Haller (played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), who takes on the high-profile case of Trevor Elliot (Christopher Gorman), accused of killing his wife and her boyfriend after finding them in bed together.

Mickey works alongside his ex-wife Lorna and her new partner Cisco (Angus Sampson) to build a case, all the while trying to figure out what happened to colleague Jerry, who left his legal practice to Mickey in his will.

While many fans on social have been loving the show, others have been wondering where they recognise Lorna from. The character is played by 43-year-old Becki Newton, who starred opposite America Ferreria as Amanda Tanen in Ugly Betty from 2006 until 2010. Now it makes sense!

She also played Quinn in How I Met Your Mother, Annie in Love Bites and, more recently, Andrea in film Otherhood. You might also recognise her as Jackie from Divorce.

Fans on social media have been loving Becki’s new show so far, with one writing, “The Lincoln lawyer on Netflix is a really good series” and another adding, “The Lincoln Lawyer had me in a twist the whole series. Usually I’d figure these out by episode 2/3 but even at episode 10 I did not see that coming!”
