BRASILIA, June 23 (Reuters) – Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro mentioned on Thursday that the arrest of former education and learning minister Milton Ribeiro was an endeavor to weaken the authorities and vowed to help him.
The president claimed the former minister, who is beneath investigation for suspected corruption involving education and learning funds, should not have been arrested and named the investigation “frivolous”.
