Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will join a dedicated team of financial professionals. The Town’s Finance Department has received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Award for several years. The Accounting Manager must be able to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced professional office environment. The individual must have the knowledge, experience and ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the Town’s financial data and systems and ensure their accuracy and integrity, in accordance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, as well as governmental GAAP. The Accounting Manger must be able to perform advanced level accounting duties and analysis, accurately and quickly, and provide support to the Town Treasurer. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in accounting or a related field with 2 to 4 years of related experience, preferably in governmental accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
Compensation
The expected hiring range is between $75,000 – $90,000 depending on qualifications, with an excellent benefits package.
