An initiative of the nonprofit media firm, The GroundTruth Job, it is structured to harness the skills and idealism of an emerging group of journalists as well as the artistic spirit of community news organizations.

Past 7 days was Miranda’s very last week with us. She’ll be leaving Las Cruces to be part of the personnel of the Sign-up-Guard in Eugene, Oregon — where by she’ll also cover education and learning. We wanted to chat to her about some of the greatest stories she’s coated through her time here, some of the throughlines in her reporting, and what we need to be wanting for as we shift forward.
