The altercation at the eatery just off Tallahassee Highway in Bainbridge, Ga, was caught on movie and as of Monday had over 1.6 million views on Twitter.

In a statement, the firm reported it was “horrified” about the incident. A Popeyes spokesperson explained Smith was fired.

“We have been made mindful of the movie depicting the assault of a Popeyes restaurant staff member, and we are unquestionably horrified, like the relaxation of the public,” study the assertion. “Violence of any sort has no put in Popeyes restaurants. We are doing the job with area authorities and the franchisee to assure the impacted staff member has the aid she wants to completely recover.”
