When it comes to raising her children, Necey Frazier will be the first to tell you there’s never a dull moment.
“I have three of them,” Frazier said. “All boys. I’m what you would call a ‘boy mom.'”
Being a boy mom has its challenges, but Frazier’s new business, Future Kingz Boys Apparel & Accessories, hopes to solve one of them.
“It wasn’t until I had children of my own that I realized boys often get left by the wayside,” Frazier said. “Don’t get me wrong, I love dinosaurs and trains, but sometimes you want to steer away from them and dress them differently.”

Future Kingz Boys Apparel & Accessories is a store that specializes in boys’ clothing only, with sizes ranging from infants to ages 13 and 14.
“People can expect a one-stop shop,” Frazier said. “You don’t have to go to multiple stores to complete an outfit. We have everything right here.”
After more than two years of selling online, Frazier took the next step and opened her first brick-and-mortar location at 1001 Gulf Beach Highway on April 10.
“I believe this was God himself,” Frazier said. “It’s easy to talk yourself out of things, or quit when you hit one roadblock. But you have to get out of your comfort zone, keep pushing, and step out in faith.”

Frazier opened her new location with driving distance in mind.
“I particularly like this area,” Frazier said. “There’s not a lot of options here, and I noticed a need in this part of town. A trip to the mall can be stressful, especially when your kids keep asking are we there yet.”
Frazier also explains that a welcoming atmosphere is also key.
“Boys will squirm, and you’re trying hold up a shirt or get them to try something on, and they can’t stay still,” Frazier said. “It can be exhausting. So I wanted to open a business because I knew there were other boy moms that may feel the same way.”
Future Kingz Boys Apparel & Accessories goes beyond clothing. Graphic T-shirts featuring motivational messages are displayed prominently throughout the store.
“We are raising future kings,” Frazier said. “When we tell girls they’re pretty, their confidence level goes up. Boys are the same way. We need to uplift them, too.”
Future Kingz Boys Apparel & Accessories is open from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit futurekingzboysapparel.com or call 850-485-1909.
