A resale and consignment retailer in the Highlands community was shot into Wednesday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD officers responded to Encore Resale in the 1000 block of Bardstown Highway about 1:30 p.m. On arrival, they had been advised many shots were fired into the small business.
LMPD spokesperson Angela Ingram claimed Thursday afternoon that according to the department’s investigation, the suspect “appears to suffer from a level of psychological disease.” Law enforcement are operating to secure a warrant for that individual’s arrest, Ingram claimed.
Ingram reported the shooter also shot a particular person in a neighboring apartment after capturing into the company. The suspect knew both people today who were being focused, she explained.
